Make sure it was delivered to the proper address and please check names. If it’s the right name but wrong address the respondent can go online and use the correct address. The person can also call in and use the correct address, or the person can write the correct address on the form and envelope and mail it back.
- Is there a helpline for the U.S. Census Bureau?
The Customer Service line is 844-330-2020.
- What is the protocol for U.S. Census workers as they start the count in tribal communities and drop off questionnaires?
As the process of Update Leave or dropping off paper forms at each home in tribal communities, Census workers have a no-contact rule. The Tribal Partnership Specialists suggest to post flyers with the customer service number above in public places if residents have questions.
